Ants

It's an insect not a spider
it has 6 legs instead of 8
3 on this side 3 on that side
and it's crawling on your plate.

our picnic is their grocery store
5 ants 6 ants 7 ants 8
they are crawling on my plate
8 ants 7 ants
stomp around
6 ants 5 ants
on the grounds
4 ants 3 ants
on the run
2 ants 1 ant
no more fun.


Bears

Polar Bear

The polar bear lives in Alaska,
He never gets cold in a storm,
He swims in cold icy water,
His heavy coat keeps him warm.
Warm, warm, warm, warm,
His heavy coat keeps him warm.
Warm, warm, warm, warm,
His heavy coat keeps him warm. 


The Black Bear

In the summer, fall, and spring
the black bear sports and has his fling,
but winter sends him straight indoors and there he 
snores... and snores... and snores.

Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear,
Where have you been?
Over the mountains -
Such things I've seen!

Eaten blueberries

Wondering what to do

Climbing up a tree

Ate an apple core

Found honey in a hive

Here is a proper kid poem!
Don't bring camels in the classroom.
Don't bring scorpions to school.
Don't bring rhinos, rats, or reindeer.
Don't bring mice or moose or mule.
Pull your penguin off the playground.
Put your python in a tree.
Place your platypus wherever
you think platypi should be.
Lose your leopard and your lemur.
Leave your llama and your leech.
Take your tiger, toad and toucan
anywhere but where they teach.
Send your wombat and your weasel
with your wasp and wolverine.
Hide your hedgehog and hyena
where you're sure they won't be seen.
Please get rid of your gorilla.
Please kick out your kangaroo.
No the teacher didn't mean it
when she called the class a "zoo".
I like to call it dont bring camels into the classroom!
