Pepper Steak

1 lb. sirloin, cut in strips (easier to cut if slightly frozen)
2 Tbsp. oil
1/4 c sliced onion
1 clove minced garlic
1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 c. hot water
2 c. coarsely chopped tomato
1 large green pepper, sliced
2 Tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Brown meat in oil. Add onion and garlic; season with salt and
pepper. Add bouillon and simmer 20-25 minutes. Add tomato and green pepper. Cook 10 minutes. Add cornstarch mixture and soy sauce. Boil until the sauce is clear and thick. Serve on a bed of rice.
